Getting both wife and daughter into a two-seater has proven to be an impossible task. So as a weekend commuter, I had to make a descision: stop driving Morgans, or sell the two-seater and get a four-searter. Easy choice! But finding the right model is hard, as they have stopped producing four-seaters in 2015, and they are usually kept by their owners for a long time. So I kept searching the internet and regularly checked online markets - and then, one day, the most classic combination appeard online: sports green, black leather, and the latest engine of a Plus 4 they put in classic models. I had to be quick, and with a little help of Dad I could make the deal and pick up this beautiful four-seater in southern Germany. I then a had a few improvements and stainless objects transferred from the two-seater, and here it is: our fully-family-compatible four-seater! If you have taken a look at our earlier cars, you will have seen the pictures of my Dad an me - in a four-seater. This is quite some time ago now, but I am glad I could let history somehow repeat itself by getting one of these very rare Morgans (I like to call it the Unicorn, although the Plus 4 Plus is even harder to find). It makes me sad that I can't share the experience with my Dad anymore, but I like to believe that he is always somehow with me when I drive a Morgan. |
